brief update

As you can see, all of my sites have moved to the new URL. Things have changed, including friendships and, well, sometimes it’s better to host one’s own site.

I have things I want to say about Tyler and doping and Lance and Hondo, but not right now. At the moment, I’m trying to completely move my sites over here. And then I have work and, well, hopefully sometime this weekend or next week I’ll update properly.

This will have to do for now.

Please, please change your links. I don’t know how long the other site will exist.

I’ve been slowly following cycling, I’m not sure what to think of the Hondo thing. It’s a little too … close for comfort, I think. But I’m ignoring it for now. I have other things on my mind.

Like what, you ask? Well. About two months I decided that I needed change in my life. And, well, I really missed college. So a month and a half ago I applied to grad school at Wayne State University. The program? MLIS, otherwise known as a master’s in librarian and information science. And Thursday, on my way to Detroit for the Armin van Buuren gig, I got a letter from the school.

I got in. I start in the fall.

I am still slightly stunned, but mostly pleased. The whole paying for it thing and housing is completely daunting, but I’ve made my first steps with FAFSA. So, yeah. I’ll probably talk about this whole thing more on the other blog, but I figured I’d explain some of my absence here.

Anyway. GO BIG TEN!
